Rodrigo's story

Rodrigo is a young farmer from San Agustín, Huila, who began his agricultural endeavors 17 years ago. He inherited a one-hectare farm from his grandparents where he cultivates over 5,000 coffee plants along with 200 plantain trees distributed in different growth stages. Rodrigo hires the help of another farmers to help him through the harvesting process.

Rodrigo lives with his wife and two children in a house they jointly purchased. His wife is also an avid farmer who constantly helps him through the harvest seasons.

A loan of $2,402,995 COP enables Rodrigo to purchase materials to construct an additional coffee processing facility. This space will streamline his coffee storage and management, improving efficiency and ensuring optimal crop quality.
