08-Banghere Group's story

These 7 women, all from the same area came together and set up the group in March 2003. They run small businesses in order to give themselves some independence. Madame Mansata, who is 47, is the group leader. She has her hand raised in the photo. She is married and has 8 children of her own as well as caring for a further 4 children. She is planning to buy vegetables and sell them. With the profits, she hopes to buy electrical household appliances and wants to grow her business.
