Blanca Margarita's story

Blanca Margarita and her family live in the community of Carcel in Montecristi, a place whose inhabitants work making and selling bricks, handicrafts, and a variety of furniture. It alohas variety of food typical of that region.

Blanca sells jugs of water from her house. Distributors deliver her orders to her at home. In addition, she and her family have an artisanal brick factory. Blanca helps to sell the bricks, and when large quantities are ordered she also helps with the work. Their customers are wholesale distributors who buy bricks in bulk each week, and individuals. They work Monday through Saturday.

This loan will be used to buy clay, sawdust, and firewood. Blanca will also pay for transportation, and buy jugs of purified water, etc.
