A loan helped a member to stock up on bralima and brasimba drinks, which will reinforce her initial investment capital.

Tufaulu Group's story

Mme Marie Jose is a customer of Hekima IMF and the president of group villageoise Tufaulu. She is married, 45, and has 4 children who are all in school. Her husband is a teacher.

She sells drinks and launched her business in 2005 with an initial investment capital received from her husband. Later she became a customer of Hekima to seek additional support and gradually developed her business.

With this new loan, she is going to stock up on bralima and brasimba drinks which will reinforce her initial capital. The challenge for her business is the lack of merchandize. Mme Marie Jose would like her children to continue their education. She would also like to buy a parcel of land. Finally she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting business owners who don't have access to traditional banking in the context of the Covid-19 global crisis. The photo only shows the leader of the group in compliance with Covid-19 social distancing measures.
