Vivian's story

Meet 45-year-old Vivian. She is from Liberia and is living together with her partner along with 3 kids. She never had the opportunity to attend school.

She is a strong business woman who sells used clothing, slippers and bags. She started the business with her savings and learned how to sell from her sister. She sells Monday through Saturday and spends 15 hours at her business site.

To continue her sales, requires for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a kiva lending partner. The loan will be used to buy more used clothes, slippers and bags to sell in order to generate more profits that will enable her to pay back her loan. She likes her business because it helps to sustain her family. In the future, Vivian wants to become an international business woman and improve her business.
