Buhoro is a Hekima IMF client and president of the village group, "Tuburhe". She is 44, married and mother of five children who are all in school. Her partner is a blacksmith. She is a saleswoman selling various plates and she began this activity seven years ago with start-up funds from her husband. Later on she joined the Hekima programme to support her business during which time it has evolved gradually.
With this new loan she will stock up with basins and plates which will strengthen her initial capital. Her business does not have any threats.
She would like her children to continue with their studies and to develop her business. Finally she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to owners of non-bankable businesses in the context of the global crisis linked to Covid-19. The photo is of the leader of the group due to Covid-19 and a respect for social distancing measures.
