El Exito Group's story

The “El Exito” communal bank is made up of 8 hard-working, enterprising women who have been improving their quality of living through the income from their sales. They aspire to have established sales spaces for their sales and at the same time generate opportunities to grow for the women of their community and their families.

Like Martha who is 53 years old and lives in her own house. She has been married for 20 years and has lived in the same house. She has one son who is married. The income from her business selling chickens and hens located at her house allowed her to provide sustenance and education of her son. She is now helped in this way by her son and her husband with economic support and is improving her quality of living.

Martha has been improving little by little and she has more investments. She comments that in the short term she could have her own sales space and better conditions that would allow her to provide a more complete service with greater variety of products.

The other members of the group are: Epifania, Guadalupe, Macaria, Angelica, Isabel, Elisea and Anabel. They aspire to formalize their sales in the future, each having a stall or sales space appropriate to their business.

In this group: Maria Epifania, Martha Lilia, Guadalupe, Macaria Rufina, Angelica Del Carmen, Isabel, Elisea, Anabel
