Denis Ariel's story

Denis Ariel is a coffee grower who lives in northern Nicaragua in the community of Wiwili. He oversees a plantation of 4.22 hectares which are soon to be coffee crops. This work will help him to generate the income he needs to better support his family. He has done this work for fifteen years. This year, he is applying for a loan to purchase the vegetative materials, pay field laborers, and support other activities for his crops. He wants to plant 2.11 hectares of coffee. This investment will see a return in his second year and he is confident that it will help him to continue improving his quality of life and that of his family. During the growing season, he employs 16 people from his community. This is his first loan with PACSA.
