A loan helped to purchase organic inputs that will enhance the sustainability of her crops.

Maria's story

Maria is from Garzon, Huila, and began cultivating almost three decades ago. She owns a two-and-a-half-hectare terrain where she harvests approximately 12,000 coffee plants along with 1,000 intertwined plantain trees. She uses traditional techniques to tend her crops and processes them with her own tools to sell at the local market.

She lives with her husband in a house they purchased together. Her spouse actively assists in managing their terrain, contributing to the success of their crops.

A loan of 3,593,774 COP helps Maria to acquire organic inputs that will ensure the health and continuous productivity of her crops. With these inputs she aims to improve the overall quality of her crops and increase the yields.
