This committee was formed thanks to a former member, Ms. Silvina Cañete. She contacted her neighbors and friends to form a group in the area. The committee's name is "Santa Catalina", and they are currently in their seventh cycle. With 13 members, it is a group that is highlighted in the community for its commitment to responsibilities and way of work. The members of the committee have different activities and they try hard every day to improve income for their families. The women are borrowing 1,200,000; 1,100,000; 1,000,000; 700,000 and 500,000 guarani (PYG) to buy merchandise for subsequent sale.
Ms. Eulogia A. has a small fruit stand and she is well known in her community for her good quality service and good merchandise. Although she has a good income, she wishes to increase it by diversifying her products and improving quantity.
