Yovanni Carlina's story

Yovanni Carlina and her family live in the city of Portoviejo, which was affected by the earthquake on April 16, 2016. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for domestic consumption.

From her home, Yovanni Carlina works in her sewing workshop, where clients come to request various clothing items. She works based on orders from her clients and also sells jewelry and clothing for women. She provides these products on credit and collects payments on a weekly basis. Yovanni Carlina works from Monday to Saturday.
