Salamata's story

Salamata is a farmer living in a community called Goripie in the Upper West Region of Ghana. She solely depends on farm produce, but has to face several challenges due to her farm size.

Salamata is seeking for a loan to acquire a post-harvest device to eliminate the labor-intensive nature of the manual shelling processes.

The electric-powered groundnut decorticator (groundnut sheller) that she is going to use the loan to buy will help to reduce kernel breakage and losses that she experiences as a result of the manual processes.
