Tabbsum And Group's story

Tabbsum is a 26-year-old married woman residing in the Arariya district of Bihar. She has a household of 5 and a monthly income of 24,000 INR. She has her own bamboo business in which she makes bamboo products based on the taste and preference of her customers.

Tabbsum is worried about the future of her school-going children. She has decided to expand her business and increase her income. She will use the extra income to save money for her children's future and also to fund their education.

She leads a group of ten women. These women have come together to apply for a group loan of 500,000 INR from Grameen Shakti, one of Milaap's field partners, to invest in their respective businesses. They are grateful to their lenders.
