A loan helped to purchase more baked breads to increase his business.

Manso's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 33-year-old Manso from Kandeh Town Branch. He is a married businessman with two children, aged 8 and 13 years. One is currently attending school. He started this business to improve his life and his family.

Manso runs a retail business and sells baked breads to his customers around the community. He has been in this business for the past 24 years. Manso says that his challenge is slow sales during school vacation.

He requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more baked breads to increase his business. Manso says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of his family. In the future, he would like to expand to a large scale. He sends thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
