Elnura's story

Lovely Elnura sends greetings from Toktoyan village. She thanks the Kiva Foundation and its lenders for the financing given to her earlier.

Elnura is 36 years old. She is married, and she is a mother of five wonderful children. Elnura's husbands actively helps his wife about the household, raising their children and caring for the livestock. At the present there are 4 cows, 3 horses, and 22 sheep on Elnura's farm. Livestock is kept on their homestead. There are all conditions for their upkeep.

To further develop her farm and to prepare for the winter season, she has applied to the Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 110,000 (KGS) to buy hay and steers. The profits from the loan will help to boost the productivity of their farm and therefore their income.

She is hoping to accomplish the desired outcome and create a better life for her wonderful children.
