Gs Dios Proveera : Grupo 1 Group's story

Julie is a 41-year-old woman of Haitian nationality, currently in a common-law relationship, a mother to four children, and she went to school until the sixth grade.

She arrived in the Dominican Republic 34 years ago with her mother, because they were looking for a better quality of life and a better future. She has been working for approximately 17 years as a merchant. Currently, she has a stall, where she sells coffee, eggs, yautía, oil, plantains, bread, bananas, water, beverages, noodles, rice, green beans, etc.

She runs this business out of her home and door to door. Julie knows the value of hard and honest work very well, which is why she has very firm and clearly-set goals, which motivates her every day to keep going.

With this loan she wishes to buy more merchandise in order to have a wider variety of products, grow her business, meet the needs of her customers, and be able to generate a larger income.

She is the group's coordinator and this is her 12th loan with EI. Her dream is to be able to buy a plot of land to build her own house.

Thank you for supporting Julie and the GS Dios Proveerá: Grupo 1 group.

In this group: Miguel, Jeanelle, Milienne, Julie, Jose, Wildiana
