A loan helped to buy corn, sugar, salt, and other basic necessities to sell in the store.

Maira Gemima's story

Maira lives with her family, which includes herself, her partner, and two children who are 11 and 16 years old--both of whom depend on her. She has relatives who live abroad. Maira has been running her business for 10 years, selling essential products in her store. She started her business with the aim of generating additional income for her household and learned the trade through practical experience. She works Monday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

She is requesting a loan to invest in her business in order to better serve her customers. The loan will be used to buy corn, sugar, salt, and other basic necessities to sell in the store. She hopes to meet the demand of her customers and increase profit. Her goal is to improve her economic situation and to provide education for her children.
