A loan helped to buy construction materials and pay wages for some laborers to build a hygienic toilet.

Nga's story

Mrs. Nga, a 42-year-old widow with three children, is now leading an independent life. Residing alone in a small home in the rural district of Dong Son, Mrs. Nga derives her income from her job as a tailor, which, while fulfilling, provides a modest living.

Living in a tight financial situation, Mrs. Nga faces the additional challenge of a deteriorating sanitation facility at home, posing risks to her health. In a determined effort to address this issue, she decided to ask for this first loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to purchase construction materials and hire skilled laborers to rebuild her home's sanitation facilities.

This endeavor is not only a means to improve living conditions but also a way to enhance the overall quality of life for herself.

Despite facing the trials of being a single parent in a rural setting, Mrs. Nga harbors hopes for the future. She envisions a time when her children secure stable jobs and their family enjoys good health.
