A loan helped to buy a cow and materials to rebuild the barn.

Herizo's story

Herizo is 29 years old, married, with 3 children. He lives in a rural village with his family. He has skill in masonry and is also involved in livestock breeding. Additionally, he has a stand where he sells animal feed products. His wife is a teacher.

Herizo wants to have his own home. He has decided to further develop his breeding business, and is using his savings for this project. He has previously connected with Vahatra and has received loans to boost his working capital for his breeding business. The amount of his previous loans has increased each time and the profits he's earned have gone into his savings and to support the family's expenses.

He is now requesting his first loan on Kiva to buy a milking cow, and is hoping for the support of Kiva lenders. He will earn more money from the production and sale of milk, which will increase his savings.
