Bonifacia's story

Bonifacia T., from the village of Tabon, is 60 years old, married, and has five children. To make a living, Bonifacia operates a business venture in food production/sales. Her products include baked goods which are locally known as Biko, Puto, Putomaya, etc.



In 2008, Bonifacia joined PMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Now requesting her seventh loan for 5,000 PHP to buy ingredients for baking, she plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of her family.
