Let's Ryde NC is a certified by the state of North Carolina as a non-emergency medical transportation provider. We currently have accounts with the top two transportation brokers in the state and we are slowly growing our private passenger accounts. We also have an account with a non-profit organization that supports youth aging out of the foster care system.
We are based in Raleigh, North Carolina and started as the COVID pandemic was coming to an end. I saw the need for better access to medical appointments and used my savings to purchase our first wheelchair van, which is still in operation today.
What is the purpose of this loan?
I am applying for this loan because, although we are earning revenue, we need to use a better dispatch system. Currently, passengers are requesting our services but our brokers divvy out the jobs to all of the providers in the area. So, we are marketing but still not getting the work we are earning.
Once we implement a good dispatch and billing system, and get some preventative maintenance done on our wheelchair van we will be able to accommodate over 200 more trips per year; more specifically by accommodating passengers who are already repeatedly requesting our services.

We offer some Lending Partners the option to protect themselves against currency fluctuations by choosing to pass on these losses to Kiva lenders. By bearing this risk, lenders protect the partner and its borrowers from catastrophic currency devaluations and contribute to the sustainability of their operations.

"Yes" means the Lending Partner will cover any currency loss. Lenders will not bear losses due to currency fluctuation
