A loan helped a member to buy more Irish potato seeds and fertilizers.

Tuburamuhinzi Agric Group's story

Marie Gorette is a 47-year-old mother of seven children aged between 10 and 27 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past 27 years, she has been growing Irish potatoes.

Marie Gorette is the leader of the group named Tuburamuhinzi Agric, which in English means "Let's develop as farmers." All of the group members are Irish potato growers.

Marie Gorette will use her loan to buy more Irish potato seeds and fertilizers to continue with her Irish potato growing. She will then sell them at the marketplace when harvested to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales she hopes to be able to buy a piece of land.

Marie Gorette is thankful for your support.
