A loan helped to buy embroidery needles and yarn for her business.

Kholoud's story

Kholoud is a 41-year-old Jordanian woman and a mother of three. Her small embroidery business is the family’s main income source besides her son’s job; he works in a butcher shop.

Kholoud learned this craft from her mother-in-law and started embroidering on different items like cushions, dresses, and Arabian seats. This skill encouraged her to start an embroidery business that has become her main financial source.

To buy more tools and yarn that will help her throughout her business, Kholoud needs a loan of 900 JOD.

This loan is special because:

It empowers the most vulnerable and marginalized women in Jordan.
