A loan helped to purchase fertilizer and hire labor to take care of the industrial trees.

Nga's story

Nga, aged 54, is a married woman with two grown-up children who have their own lives. She and her husband belong to an ethnic minority and live in the remote mountainous area of Ngoc Lac district. Her husband works as a construction worker, while Nga engages in domestic help services for families in the region. The combined income of the couple is low, and they also lease land for long-term industrial tree planting, both for harvesting timber and contributing to soil erosion prevention efforts.

Due to a lack of funds for land improvement, Nga has asked for her second loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to purchase 280 bags of fertilizer and hire labor to take care of the trees, with the hope of ensuring their healthy growth.

Her proactive approach to tree planting not only contributes to their income but also plays a role in environmental conservation efforts, safeguarding the land from erosion.
