Aira Christyl's story

Aira Christyl owns rice paddies. She earns a living selling " palay " which are newly harvested rice grains. She is married with one young child. Her husband works as a mechanic. She lives in the town of Batuan.

At the moment, she would like to enhance the yield of her farm and for it to become stable. She joined CEVI, a microfnance NGO in the Philippines, and applied for a loan. She will use it to purchase fertilizer and to pay labour fees.

She dreams of expanding her farming livelihood to be able to support her family for the future.
