A loan helped a member to buy and sell groceries.

Alma Blanca Group's story

The Alma Blanca group is located in a rural colony. It is a community of scarce resources. They lack some services and it is a colony where the residents generally work in agriculture, masonry, and as domestic workers.

Such is the case with Fulvia, a single mother. She has a business selling groceries, breakfasts and meals. She has three children. With her loan, she was able to purchase an additional table to serve more customers, as well as a cookware set. Likewise, she purchased more products for her grocery store.

Her dream continues and she is working to be able to roof her house and build another room, as well as remodel her kitchen.

The group is made up of Macrina, Marina, Magdalena, Carmelinda and Yadira. They all have different types of businesses, food, selling groceries, selling shoes from catalogs, selling butchered chicken, and selling clothing.

In this group: Magdalena, Cruz Marina, Macrina, Fulvia Guadalupe, Carmelinda, Yadira
