Lakunini's story

Lakunini is 34 years old, married, and blessed with five children below the age of 18 years. He supports a family of eight members. He does livestock fattening and crop farming, and he has been in this business for the last six years earning a monthly income of KES 70,000. He will use the entire loan amount to purchase farm inputs e.g., certified seeds and livestock for fattening. He will use the anticipated profit from his business to pay loan, pay school fees and purchase more livestock for fattening. He is borrowing from Vision Fund Kenya for the third loan term, and he paid previous loans successfully. His hopes and dreams for his future business and family is to be financially stable and be successful.
