A loan helped to restock cloth.

Basmah's story

Basmah is a 47-year-old woman, divorced and with no children, who works as a teacher. In the face of life's increasing expenses, she decided to take on an extra venture—selling houseware. She equipped herself for this new endeavor by taking a sales course, intending to cater to the needs of her neighbors and local community.

To kickstart her houseware business, Basmah sought financial support from the MFW by securing a loan. With dedication, she began selling to the women in her area, filling a gap in the market for houseware shops. Initially facing challenges in convincing her family and understanding the needs of her customers, Basmah persisted until things started running smoothly.

Now, Basmah boasts a significant customer base and has become a familiar name among women in her area and nearby regions. Her dream is to eventually open her own shop. Currently, Basmah is seeking 500 JOD to restock her goods. Your support can help her continue providing essential houseware to her community and take steps toward realizing her dream. Let's come together to assist Basmah in expanding her business!
