A loan helped to buy fabrics, needles and threads for her home-based sewing business.

Amira's story

Amira, a 36-year-old Jordanian woman, is a mother of three children. Her husband is a supervisor at a private sector company. She is a talented and ambitious wife, who insisted to start her home-based sewing business in order to empower herself and to bring the joy of being financially independent to her life. And so she did ask for 1300 Jordanian dinars to buy fabrics, needles and threads for her business, hoping that her business would keep improving and she would be able to own her workshop and get expanded in her business territory.
