A loan helped to buy school supplies and pay tuition for her daughter in university.

Oanh's story

Mrs. Oanh, a 46-year-old woman living in Thanh Hoa City, Vietnam, has been facing financial challenges while trying to support her family.

Mrs. Oanh and her husband live in a small house, and their income, derived from her husband's work as a construction worker and her own business of making and selling nem chua (a traditional fermented pork dish wrapped in banana leaves), is just enough to make ends meet. Their eldest children have already grown up, and their youngest daughter has just started her first year at university.

The family's financial situation has become strained due to the expenses associated with their daughter's education. In order to afford school supplies and tuition fees, Mrs. Oanh has decided to ask for this first loan from Thanh Hoa MFI.

Despite the challenges they face, Mrs. Oanh and her husband remain optimistic about their daughter's future and are working hard to ensure that she receives a quality education.

This loan is special because:

It provides children from low-income families with greater access to education.
