Linah's story

Linah, 38, is married with 4 school-aged children who all attend school. She is a farmer in Kitale town, western Kenya where she has been farming for over 10 years. Her main product is eggs which she sells to the neighboring households and milk which she sells to the hotels around the area.

She has requested for a loan of 70,000Kes through Juhudi Kilimo to improve her poultry farm and construct a dairy unit. She says that the proceeds from this loan will go a long way in educating her children and also food sustainability in the family. She says that the high cost of medication has been her greatest challenge.
