Tabitha's story

Tabitha is a 32-year-old mother of three children. She joined Hand in Hand Eastern Africa in the year 2022 with the aim of benefitting from savings, enterprise development and financial management trainings.

Tabitha is a poultry farmer and is borrowing from Kiva to buy more chicks to increase her production, hence her income. She intends to use the anticipated income to pay for her children's school fees and buy food for her family. She is grateful to Kiva and its lenders and promises to repay on time.
