A loan helped to buy and sell staple products.

Maria's story

Maria is 63 years old, is single, and has six children, of whom two are independent adults and four are in secondary school. She also supports two school-aged grandchildren who live with her. She has been a retailer for more than eleven years, and with this loan she intends to buy soft drinks, beer, water, corn flour, wine, Frozy soda, eggs, pasta, and onions to reinforce her business.
This is her seventh loan; she started working on her house with the previous loans. Her dream is to grow in her business to meet her customers' needs.
