Ziyash's story

Ziyash is a 55-year-old woman who lives with her family in Yerkinshilik village, Akmola region. She has been engaged in animal husbandry for over 20 years and is currently a successful entrepreneur in the field of animal husbandry. At present Ziyash has a fazenda with a large number of cattle in the amount of 12 head of cattle, 60 head of small horned cattle, and 5 head of horses.

Together with her family she is engaged in the production of dairy products, which she sells to the district and to the city of Astana. Ziyash keeps cattle for fattening in order to sell meat products. She also sells livestock at the livestock market near Astana city.
