Emely Dayana's story

Emely Dayana is 19 years old. She lives with her partner and has an 18-month-old daughter. Her husband is a security guard. They live in Los Arenales, a place with beautiful beaches and hard-working people who make a living from fishing.

She is a hard-working woman who looks for a way to earn her income, and with it be able to help her husband run their home. She makes a living from cleaning and selling fish. She buys small fish like herrings, which she brines and cures with salt and lemon; to later sells them in plastic containers to merchants who take them to other cities. She also sells fish in the surrounding areas where she has many customers.
