A loan helped to pay for her Bachelor of Arts degree in Rwanda.

Denyse's story

Denyse is the second born in her family of three. Her father passed away when she was young, leaving her mother as the sole provider. She was the rock that supported her and her siblings through their primary and secondary education. Their family's financial situation was tough, with her mother working tirelessly to make ends meet. Denyse knew that education was their ticket to a better life, a chance to rewrite their family's story and bring happiness to her mother, who had never had the opportunity for education herself.

This year, Denyse secured a slot at Kepler College, and she appreciates its commitment to treating all students equally, creating a friendly learning environment. She has always dreamed of becoming an independent businesswoman, and Kepler College's quality education is going to help her achieve that. Her family will benefit immensely from her education, as she plans to use her future earnings to support her younger brother's education and provide her mother with a stable home.

Denyse also has a strong desire to be a changemaker in her community, particularly for young girls who face challenges in pursuing education. She wants to establish a mentorship hub to guide them in their careers and provide essential materials to help them succeed. In the long run, she aimed to contribute to her country through participation in government activities, paying taxes, and her mentorship initiatives.
