A loan helped to buy construction materials and pay wages for some laborers to build a hygienic toilet.

Lan's story

Mrs. Lan, 43 years old, is married and her children are grown up. Her family belongs to an ethnic minority and lives in a mountainous area in Cam Thuy district. Her husband is a manual laborer, and she is involved in farming, animal husbandry, and occasional manual labor at construction sites, earning a low income. The family's sanitary facilities have been deteriorating for a long time, affecting their health, but they cannot afford to build new ones. Mrs. Lan therefore asked for this first loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to purchase construction materials and hire workers to build a new sanitary facility.

Living in a remote and underprivileged area, Mrs. Lan's family faces many challenges. However, she is determined to improve their living conditions. With the additional financial support, she hopes to provide a healthier living environment for her family. She believes that with better sanitary facilities, her family's health will improve, and they can focus on building a brighter future.
