A loan helped a member to purchase a cooler.

Los Comerciantes Group's story

Maria Maribel is 44 years old. She lives with her husband and her 13-year-old son. Maria works as a domestic worker and on weekends, she sells fresh produce. She has been working as a domestic for 3 years and has been selling fresh produce for one year, a job that allows her to generate income to help with household responsibilities.

Maria wants to strengthen her soda sales business. So she is applying for a loan to buy a cooler and invest more in the business.
With this investment, she hopes to have greater availability for its clients and thus improve her income.

Maria together with Katherin and Adonis make up the solidarity group “Los Comerciantes”. They are responsible people who seek the same goal of getting ahead.

In this group: Adonis Josue, Maria Maribel, Katherin Yamileth
