Petronille's story

M. Pétronille is a storekeeper. She is 52 years old, a widow, and she has three children between the ages of 12 and 20. She has a primary school education, and all of her children go to school. She was born in the district of Ruhango, a province in the south of Rwanda, but she now lives in Kigali-Rwanda. She is going to use her loan to buy cement, flooring, bricks, sand and labor. Her strategy for the project's growth is to save and to pay back her loans on time in order to be independent in her own home and to increase the confidence of the bank. She would like to increase the intellectual development of her children. For her family, she would like to buy a new home in which to live.
