A loan helped to buy a pregnant sow, potatoes, vitamins, balanced feed, and electrolites.

Evelyn Geomara's story

The the neighborhood of Chollo, La Mana, Ecuador, lives Evelyn. She is a young 21-year-old who lives in a free union with her partner who is the father of her two young sons. She and her family live in a family home that they were allowed to use so that they do not have to pay rent. She always has had an extroverted personality, with kindness and hard work. This has helped to support her business raising and selling small animals like pigs, chickens, and guinea pigs. This is an activity that she does from home without neglecting her children nor the household, because she is an excellent wife and mother. While she does this work her partner goes out to work at a business in the area so that between the two they are able to sustain the home. Evelyn wants to continue growing her business and for that reason she is asking for a loan to buy a pregnant sow, potatoes, vitamins, balanced feed, and electrolites. In this way she will keep her animals healthy and sell them at a good price at the animal market. She hopes to thus have a stable economic situation in order to offer her children a good home.
