Meet Mary, a hardworking group leader in a deprived farming community called Soriguon in the Lawra of the Upper West Region of Ghana. Having a team of nine members who solely depend on the farm produce they sell to live, they have to face several challenges due to reliance on manual processes The absence of vehicles means they will have to rely on manual labor or less efficient modes of transportation, leading to increased physical strain and time-consuming tasks.
They need financing to acquire tricycles to reduce the physical labor required for transporting heavy loads, allowing them to save time and energy for other farm activities.
In this group are Mary, Linda, Georgian, Grace, Gaayeng, Taayele, Ursila, Linda and Gifty.
