A loan helped to buy bottles, scents, cords, cork, and other materials for making air fresheners.

Andreina Jose's story

Andreina is a cheerful woman from Venezuela who migrated to Ecuador five years ago in search of a better future for herself and to support her family who stayed behind. She lives in a small cottage that belongs to a friend, so she is able to save money since she is not being charged rent.

In order to earn a daily income, Andreina makes and sells car air fresheners, a skill that she learned in Venezuela. She relies on this business to earn money since it is very difficult to obtain a permanent job as a foreigner. Andreina wants to boost her business because she has received proposals from a few retail establishments that are willing to distribute her product. However, she lacks operating capital.

For this reason, Andreina is requesting her first loan so that she can buy bottles, scents, cords, cork, and other materials. She hopes to produce more of her products so that she can increase her profits. Andreina dreams that someday she will have a shop where she can sell her products and other car accessories.
