A loan helped to buy merchandise in order to better stock her business.

Raquel Aida's story

Raquel, age 74, and her husband live in the city of Quito in the Pichincha province. The area is the main economic hub for commerce, tourism, and cuisine.

For 19 years Raquel has devoted herself to selling sweets, dried fruits, confectionaries, and other basic needs items at a stand in the market. This business activity has allowed her to generate earnings in order to be able to bring home the daily bread.

Raquel is requesting a loan to increase working capital in order to buy merchandise in order to better stock her business, to meet her customers' needs, and to be able to increase her sales.

Raquel is very grateful for the opportunity and the trust shown in her in order to continue with her business idea and to become a successful entrepreneur.
