A loan helped to set up an outdoor WiFi hotspot for community use.

Safiya's story

Safiya has opened a convenience store in Nima, and she takes care of herself with the income generated from it. She had the opportunity to visit a friend who has a hotspot setup in his shop, and the patronage was very good.

She wants to have a Wi-Fi setup at her shop as well because network access in her area is very bad, and she believes this will help her earn extra income.

She requests a loan amount of GHS 8,100 to have this setup done.

This loan is special because:

It empowers small business owners and supports digital inclusion in Ghana
