A loan helped to pay for a large sack of raw kava and freight and transportation fees.

Felina's story

Inspired to make her own money, 35-year-old Felina set up a kava bar for herself and her family in a corner of her yard. She has a partner who is unemployed and she is mother to two children who are both in school.

Due to kava being a very lucrative commodity in Vanuatu, Felina has done well for herself since she started her business two years ago. Her dream is to buy a piece of land where she can build a home for her children. Because kava is a very sought after drink for a lot of people in Vanuatu, especially in the evenings, Felina is in need of a larger quantity of raw kava in order to keep up with customer demand.

Felina is requesting a loan to pay for a large sack of raw kava and freight and transportation fees. All income generated by her business will go towards household necessities, school fees, and savings for future plans. Through this loan Felina feels empowered to be a better businesswoman. Thank you for lending to support Felina!
