A loan helped to buy construction materials to repair the old toilet.

Loan's story

Loan, a 38-year-old woman, is a member of an ethnic minority group and lives in the Thach Thanh district, a mountainous region. She has two children who currently attend school. Her husband works as a construction worker, while Loan is a self-employed laborer. Their combined income is low. To supplement their earnings, Loan also farms, cultivating rice and vegetables, as well as raising chickens and ducks to improve their family's meals.

Despite their financial constraints, Loan is determined to provide a better living environment for her family. One area that needs attention is their deteriorating restroom facilities. Recognizing the importance of sanitation and hygiene, she decided to take out this first loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to renovate their outdated and rundown bathroom.

Loan understands that having proper sanitation facilities is crucial for the health and well-being of her family. She believes that by investing in the renovation of their restroom, she can create a cleaner and more comfortable space for her loved ones. She hopes that this improvement will contribute to their overall quality of life.
