A loan helped a member to purchase cooking utensils to sell traditional breakfasts in the local market.

Jesus Es La Esperanza Group's story

Yobana is a hardworking woman with a gift in the culinary arts. She is one of the women who work in the local market from the very early hours selling the traditional breakfast of the highland regions and the valley, such as api and tojori, which consists of a special prepared liquid made from purple corn and constitutes a food with a high level of nutrients.

She is the mother of two school-aged children who are the primary driving force for her achievements.

For her characteristics of vision, work and solidarity she has been named the president of the Jesus es la Esperanza group. This group is made up primarily of women who work selling in the same market.

They come to Sembrar Sartawi IFD with the objective of getting counseling and financing, in Yobana's case, to allow her to improve her sales stand and the cooking utensils she has.

In this group: Pastora, Gladys , Daniela, Yobana, Carmen, Estefania, Maria Teresa, Ana Carolina, Freddy Alex
