Daniel's story

Meet Daniel!

He is a dedicated father of one child and is known for being a responsible and hardworking individual in his community in Rio Venao.

Today, Daniel is applying for a loan to plant sustainable corn, cocoyam and cassava, contributing to food security in under-resourced regions of Panama. Cocoyam and cassava are roots that are very popular in Panamanian cuisine.

With this loan he will be able to buy seeds, equipment and prepare the land to start planting. Also, he is planning to hire young people in his town during the planting season.

Thank you for supporting farmers in rural communities that have been historically excluded from basic financial services.

This loan is special because:

It helps unbanked communities in rural areas gain access to financial services.
