A loan helped a member to improve her stock of traditional women's clothing.

Pacajeñitas Group's story

Delicia is a humble, hardworking woman who excels herself every day selling traditional clothing such as skirts. These clothes are predominantly used in the Andes Region of Bolivia. These clothes date from the Colonial Era and were used by the mestizo community who worked in the fields or by humble people who traded agricultural products. Over time this attire has been re evaluated and dignified to become a characteristic symbol of women in various parts of Bolivia.
Delia, understanding market sentiment makes a living selling this attire which allows her to make enough money to provide financial stability to her family.

As she is a diligent woman she is the nominated President of her Group which would like to obtain working capital to replenish the stock of merchandise. Within the Group many of the women are mothers with small children who come to the meetings. This is the case for Jhonattan who is happy to be with his mother most of the time. This Group came to Sembrar Sartawi IFD, where they receive the support and finance they need to succeed.

In this group: Hilda , Maribel , Dieter, Elizabeth , Carolina, Delicia, Nely Garcia , Nora, Ronald
