Angelica's story

She owns a two-hectare farm granted by the indigenous council, where she cultivates over 8,000 coffee plants, 2,000 fique plants, and various fruit trees distributed within her other crops. Her skill in pest and disease control is notable, being able to nourish her land with organic fertilizers that are produced within her community. Angelica harvests monthly and is supported by 12 local experts.

Angelica lives with her husband in a house they acquired together. They have four independent adult children who pursue different careers. Her husband is also a farmer who assists in her daily tasks while also taking care of a small plot of land.
